World Sparrow Day

March 20 is observed as World sparrow day to spread awareness on their decreasing population. This initiative was taken by the Nature Forest Society of India in collaboration with the Eco-Sys Action Foundation (France) and numerous other national and international organizations across the globe.
We don’t have exact statistics on it but with simple observation, one can agree the same.

Not hearing sparrows around us is a threat to this planet. Listen their melody sound here

To save this beautiful bird if we do simple things we might able to conserve for the next generation to enjoy them.

1) Placing water near the balcony, in the garden, or hanging water can on the tree.

2) Hanging feeder

3) small cardboard house in and around garden / on the three

Don’t let sparrows become a memory.
